Nope, not my cup of tea. I really don't get all the 9 or 10 this is getting. This is a weird alternative life for Peter and, as I said for #1, it just feels rushed and basically useless. Read the original stories instead.
CAN PETER AND GWEN FIND HAPPINESS IN THE 1970s?
The GREEN GOBLIN is out of their lives, but NORMAN OSBORN isn't! Can PETER AND GWEN find happiness as the world of the 1970s dances on around them?

I'm not into this. Don't get me wrong: the idea of Spider-Man's story through the decades and real events is intriguing, but the execution is poor. I don't even get what the target is for this. Hardcore fans will know 3/4 of the things here and new fans will be confused by all the references. Everything is too quick, if you're not a huge fan you will feel lost because the pace is terribly rushed.
In 1962, in AMAZING FANTASY #15, 15-year-old Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider and became the Amazing Spider-Man! Fifty-seven years have passed in the real world since that event - so what would have happened if the same amount of time passed for Peter as well?
A special high-end limited series that's a part of the celebration of ...
• At the year's end, costs are counted - by Jackie McGee, Eugene Judd...and Samuel Sterns.
• All the Leader's plans have finally come together in what may be his greatest triumph. But is that enough...
• ...or will the ONE BELOW ALL claim his due?

If you're still pissed off by the last issues... You won't like this. Or will you? Spencer starts teasing something new here, including Carlie Cooper in the mix. Of course there are still more questions than answers, but I'm not expecting much anymore. Also, there is a very satisfying moment that I won't spoil. All in all, a good issue.
• Spider-Man continues to pick up the pieces and try to put his life together.
• But many of the gathering storms are swirling more and more violently...
• We want to tell you more but it WOULD SPOIL SO MUCH OF LAST REMAINS!!!

The First of Gwen Stacy's AMAZING Adventures!
Gwen and Peter may not have met until AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #31, but that doesn't mean Gwen's life began on that page. Learn the never-before told origin of Gwen Stacy, top of her class, daughter of the Police Captain and, as her friend Harry Osborn calls her, "The Beauty Queen of Standard High." ...
Whoever approved this series should be fired from Marvel and never return. There are dozens of continuity errors and the characters have NOTHING to do with their original counterparts. Leave Gwen Stacy dead.
• Gwen's dad is hurt, in the hospital and implicated in corruption charges.
• But what is a high school student of the month/class president candidate/science team captain supposed to do about that?
• Gwen isn't the type to sit on her hands even if it means crossing the Crimemaster and worse!!!

And it's ANOTHER 10. Zdarsky has created the greatest comic book I've read in the last 5 years and more!

I never rate a comic 10. But this is simply perfect.

• But what effect will Matt's choices have on DAREDEVIL? And what about the people who need him?
• See why people are talking about DAREDEVIL as one of Marvel's...
Don't get me wrong: the writing and the art are always very good because Spencer and Bagley are the best you could wish for now. The problem with this whole "Last Remains" is simply the hype, as most readers were expecting something else. There was NO revelation and NO answers to what Kindred is really trying to do. It's always a "we'll see what's next".
"LAST REMAINS" TAKES ITS TOLL!
• You will never look at Norman or Harry Osborn the same again.
• We know SPIDER-MAN won't.

• Some monsters are born from gamma... other monsters worship a different kind of green.
• In his war on the human world, the Immortal Hulk is taking the fight to its lords and masters - the Roxxon Corporation.
• But when you mess with THE MINOTAUR... you get the horns.

Eh, the Spider-Man part was weird. I'm curious to see where this goes.

HOLY CRAP. Absolutely fantastic issue.
• The streets of Hell's Kitchen are burning as all hell breaks loose.
• In the chaos, Matt must discover what it means to be DAREDEVIL.

• Hell's Kitchen is hanging by a thread-and that thread is Daredevil!
• Owl makes his play while Mayor Fisk watches from the sidelines.

The problem here is that I really like SOME parts (Kindred as a character, the atmosphere...) but sometimes this all feels pointless. Spencer is the best Spider-Man writer in decades, but it looks like he kinda lost control of this. To be clear, this is not a story arc ending.
LAST REMAINS CONCLUDES!
• "LAST REMAINS" ends and will make you look at Spider-Man differently. It'll make Peter look at himself differently.
• If you thought the buildup TO Kindred was intense, the fallout FROM Kindred is even more devastating.

FINALLY Ben Percy can focus on the previous storylines and put Wolverine on the track of the numerous threats to Krakoa. Still love the atmosphere and Kubert's art.

This comic is a rollercoaster! What an amazing issue. Kingpin and Murdock are in opposite situations, but will it last? I love Zdarsky's writing!
• As Mayor Fisk suffers an existential crisis, his city descends into chaos.
• Matt Murdock, on the other hand, has more conviction than ever - and stands poised to reprise his role as Hell's Kitchen's protector.

I'm taking TWO points off a great issue because of Mindy Libris. What an awful character. Hope she won't be a big character in this series.
THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY IS MY FRIEND...
• COLE NORTH goes for a drink with the one person he never expected to...
• Meanwhile, WILSON FISK learns that in New York, some people are more powerful than even the mayor.
• This, while Hell's Kitchen and IZZY LIBRIS are targeted by the Owl, with no...

LAST REMAINS TIE-IN!
• The Order of the Web faces Sin-Eater. And if you saw what Sin-Eater did to Spider-Man in ASM #49, you know just how much trouble the other Spiders are in!
• Also, what is Mary Jane Watson's part in "Last Remains"? Don't miss this chapter that raises her stakes by about a million times!

Weird. In a great way.
With Daredevil still missing, his shadow looms large over Hell's Kitchen...and ordinary citizens are starting to feel his absence. Detective Cole North may think he's stopped Daredevil, but there are bigger problems coming his way!

This is probably Green Goblin's greatest story, alongside ASM 121 (obviously) and PPSM 25, which is a direct sequel to this issue. If you thought Norman Osborn was evil, just read this. Chilling.
THE Green Goblin returns in Amazing Spider-Man #25, and this time rather than going head-to-head, wants Spider-Man to leave the civilian-saving behind and join him in darkness.
Zdarsky is great ad always, but Sharma tries to be Bagley... And fails miserably.
Daredevil has disappeared from Hell's Kitchen - and in his absence the real devils are just starting to come out to play...
