Hi! Genius reviewer here! Please read all the comics you want to read, especially that of your favorite hero! Thank you for tuning in to the ever-continuing adventures of The Amazing Spider-Man!
"something something, this comic sucks because MJ and Peter not married and OMD not undone, something something"
In all honesty, this was great. Like really great. Wells' run has been growing on me and this proves that he could have what it takes to makes this truly memorable, in a good way.
• After what just happened with Tombstone, Spider-Man still has to fight a whole well-armed gang to save dozens of innocent New Yorkers.
• With his spider-powers, he can probably take ten or fifteen of them, right? What if there's thirty of them?
• ASM #900 is almost here!

Well... Hahahaha ok ok! I have to say I kinda dig this. Tombstone literally made The Rose look like a giant wimp. And Peter did his dirty work without even knowing it. Romita got back to his best after a bad issue and this took me back to the best JMS stories (with Spidey hanging from the ceiling and kicking The Rose's goons right in the face). I'm kinda lost as to how Tombstone was able to get Spmore

"I AM GOTHAM" chapter one
No one has ever stopped the Caped Crusader. Not The Joker. Not Two-Face. Not even the entire Justice League. But how does Batman confront a new hero who wants to save the city from the Dark Knight?
CAN'T MISS: Superstar artist David Finch returns to Batman alongside writer Tom King for this five-part storyline.
Surely better than Issue 2, but I'm still extremely confused. How is Peter locked by simple handcuffs? He should be able to completely destroy them and kick all of Tombstone's goons in the face. I liked Lonnie's memory tale (and I think it's a new side of it that was never shown) and the glimpse into Randy and Janice's vacation. But that's it. Romita's art is the worst I've seen since the first Ismore
• I know that this is just #3, but did you notice that it's LGY #897? That means something big is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
• There are things you don't know about Tombstone.
• Neither you, nor Spider-Man, will ever forget them.

You have every right and reason to have mixed feelings on the series. I certainly do but Daredevil is never wrong when he says you don't HAVE to read it. No one is making you and if you don't like what you are reading, stop. Not saying you should nor that you would but it can be good advice. Or even take a break and see if the story is better digested together instead of parsed out month to month. Getting the feeling this is being written for trades (which in itself is frustrating).
We might not see real development for a while. I hope we do and I hope that you end up enjoying it more. Same goes for myself. Fingers crossed.
I'm pissed off. I accepted Issue 1's weak points and negative parts because I liked the Mafia story and JRJR's art, but this is way worse. Peter has become an insufferable jerk and his actions almost look like they're made out of anger or revenge (Peter Parker? The man who forgave murderers of the worst species?). Also, the dialogue between him and Rabbit is the dumbest thing I've ever read in my more
• The best couple in comics is done?
• You aren't going to believe what is happening in this volume of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
The baiting techniques is something that every comic read has to deal with, like it or not. I don't like it. You don't like it. I don't think anyone does. But we just gotta suck it up and deal with it.
"So you're telling me to stop reading comics I don't like... before I read them?" No? Otherwise I would comment under every review for ASM v5 #93 to not read the relauch, which I clearly didn't do.
Oh crap this is not easy.
Let me get this straight: I love Romita Jr's art and Spider-Man being broke and always on the run. This story kinda took me back to late '90s Spidey, and that's a huge WOW. I'm also intrigued by this Soprano/Breaking Bad/Mafia storyline with Tombstone and The Rose (yeah, he came back during Spencer's run... remember?).
But those plot twists with Aunt May and Ma more

ENSNARED BY DOCTOR OCTOPUS!
• Jealousy strikes as Carolyn Trainer takes her anger out on Spider-Man!
• But who's REALLY behind this cavalcade of villains?
• And is Ben ready to face that truth?
• Find out as J.M. DEMATTEIS and DAVID BALDE N bring the action - and heart! - you know and love in a Spidey story!...
Not bad, but also not an ending. Look, I'm not a huge fan of Spider-Man Beyond to being with as I think the potential was mostly wasted due to multiple writers and artists working on it at the same time. This kinda has very good moments (Peter vs Ben was interesting), but it's also rushed and I'm sure I will forget it in two weeks once ASM #1 comes out (I mean, fucking Romita Jr. is on board!). I'm giving this a 7/10 ONLY for that Doug story. The rest... Meh.
• WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LIZARD?! And what could he (or more accurately, it, after recent ASM events) possibly have to do with what has been battering Ben Reilly around?
• Only one issue to go, so you know, BIG STUFF IS HAPPENING HERE!!!
RATED T+
• "BEYOND" NEARS ITS END!
• WHAT IS BEHIND DOOR Z?!
• Ben makes his way to the same place Miles Morales was last at, and he is nowhere to be found. Just door after door of true horrors.
• Any door's resident could kill Spider-Man, but Door Z's might just destroy the whole city!
RATED T+
Peter and Ben fighting chickens. Horrible writing (the dialogues are completely out of place) and I really don't know what happened to Pichelli's art (it sucks badly here). Giant step back from the great previous issues.
Look for more information on this title in future issues of Marvel Previews.
This is just very good. The atmosphere is perfect, really takes me back to the '90s Clone Saga!
SCORPION STINGS!
BEN REILLY comes to blows with the sinister SCORPION as SPIDER-MAN begins to face down a gauntlet of his most fearsome foes!
But is all as it seems?
Rated T
Peter makes fun of Matt Murdock's blindness - Ben calls Peter "bro". Of course it's a 9,5/10!
• QUEEN GOBLIN IS TRIUMPHANT!
• The Daily Bugle is decimated.
• Can Ben Reilly bounce back and take down the Queen Goblin?
Rated T+
Holy crap, this issue was amazing (no pun intended)! Queen Goblin is not the greatest character, but her hypnotic Goblin Gaze is a genius thing: Bagley's art of Felicia's negative thoughts was fantastic and it helps characterising her even more. And... PETER IS BACK with a little help from Janine (I laughed a lot to Felicia sticking Peter in webs).
• After her first showdown with Ben Reilly, Queen Goblin now faces THE BLACK CAT!
• This will be a showdown for the ages - as you see just how horrifying this queen's reign will be.

It's very mixed. On the one hand, it's okay. Passable story about Hobie and the Slingers.
On the other hand, very odd placement for this. We haven't seen Slingers since David's Scarlet Spider run and Hobie was a more major player in Slott's Worldwide run.
So that's like 3 years ago since we saw these characters in a Spider-Man story. I really don't understand why introduce th more
• Did you think BEYOND only had ONE hero on their payroll?
• In this issue: The Slingers come out to play!
• Watch as Hobie Brown ascends to new heights as THE HORNET!
Rated T+
Yeah, it also looks like it's already ended. There won't be a followup soon.
Hobie Brown gets kicked out of his company by Amazon basically and he gets mad. But I don't think all the managers in the world react by wearing a purple costume and sneaking into the corporation's headquarters. Fun issue anyway, it's good to see Beyond being a menace to other people besides Ben and Peter.

So I guess Ben missed the part where Queen Goblin is his problem.
• Who is QUEEN GOBLIN?!
• For almost sixty years, Spider-Man has been defined by Goblins, and Ben Reilly has a brand-new one all his own.
Rated T+
LMAO Ben just turned into Bully Maguire, was kinda hoping he was gonna say "See ya chump" to MJ, what a missed opportunity lol. Besides that, another fun chapter of Beyond, really intrigued to see what will happen in these last issues.
• Who is QUEEN GOBLIN?!

Rated T+
Ben dropping MJ's ass with a clearly deranged super villain made me laugh out loud (but Peter will likely want to decapitate his twin now). Also, this issue confirmed the fact that I would very happily be a slave for Maxine Danger, and I mean that in a sexual way.

"VENOM BEYOND" CONTINUES!
• Eddie Brock and his son, Dylan, are trapped in an unfamiliar world!
• But if there's one thing Eddie's good at, it's making friends, right?
Rated T+
Yeah, this is kinda fun. But seriously, MJ with a Black Cat dress climbing a skyscraper and jumping off it like it's nothing? Tombstone keeping a demon in a safe? Liked the dialogues, but that's pretty much it. (I can see why wankers liked it that much, tho).
• Black Cat has been kidnapped, and the only person who can save her is... MARY JANE WATSON?!
• Mary Jane has never liked Felicia Hardy, and now she has to save her life?!
• But remember, this is the Black Cat we're talking about. Things are never quite what they seem.
ONE-SHOT / RATED T+
Most important thing: I love Carlos Gomez's art, he's becoming one of my favourites! And this issue is absolutely amazing. Peter training with Cap and Felicia is a very fun read, especially the Cat robbing a bank in front of the other two. The highlight of the issue was Peter's "I'm not Daredevil" T-shirt by the way. Also, Ben is being reprogrammed by Beyond and things are getting ugly for him. Itmore
With NYC reeling from Doc Ock's attack, Captain America and Black Cat need to know something…if Ben Reilly is really down, is Peter Parker able to step up and be Spider-Man again? You may think you know where this story is going, but you do not.
In Timeless #1, it hinted at Ben Reilly moving to LA. I would love to see a "Sensational Spider-Man" relaunch with Carlos Gomez on art (and personally Jed MacKay on writing)!
As if ONE new threat to Eddie Brock and his son, Dylan, wasn't bad enough, an entirely different foe rears its monstrous head as Eddie and Dylan try to find their way! But in this dangerous new world, Eddie's also enlisted the help of some new allies, some of whom have familiar faces - and who Eddie may never want to leave!
Rated T+
When a new and dangerous foe erupts into Eddie Brock's life, it threatens to rip away everything Eddie holds dear. His son, his symbiote, even himself - EVERYTHING Eddie Brock loves is in jeopardy!

@Federico Liguori It's only a half-assed joke I made. Just seeing people not giving this a chance because MJ and Peter aren't together makes me a bit sad since this book has more stuff to offer. I mean we survived Slott's run. This ain't as bad as that.
@Daredevil everybody should crap on Nick Lowe since he is a terrible choice for Spidey editor and should not work on his comics anymore.
