I have to be honest: I think this series is the weakest among all the mutants ones. Hickman is probably a genius (he creates universes and species with scientific details in this series), but almost all his stories feel... Empty. We read of all these characters (Xavier, Magneto, Apocalypse, Wolverine, Summers family, Jean Grey...) but nothing happens. Flashbacks, metaphors, ideas. I personally thi more

Damn! I agree! The dude sets up the most brilliant scenario to the point I'm obsessed. But since HOX/POX the Xmen titles have been a real downer for me.

Great in every single way. This builds up ASM 850 and gives us TWO major plot twist regarding Norman Osborn and the Ravencroft. Funnily enough, Sin-Eater has ended up in the background despite the story arc title. Spencer is a very talented writer and reading this as a huge Spider-Man fan is even better, as I can recognize lots of references and easter eggs.

Amazing Spider-Man: The Sins of Norman Osborn #1

By: Nick Spencer, Federico Vincentini

There are no good sides in X-Force. Percy is slowing building up Beast as the big bad in this story, killing innocents and abusing his power. Also, the XENO mystery is interesting and creepy. X-Force is still the best mutant series in my opinion.

X-Force #12

By: Ben Percy, Oscar Bazaldua

THE CEREBRO SWORD! After taking on the Flower Cartel, Logan has brought back valuable intel to the mutant CIA. The non-treaty nation of Russia is working to undermine Krakoa - and may be aligned with Xeno. Beast wants Colossus on their side as the first drumbeats of war begin to sound.

Very hyped about next issue! Sins Rising is easily Spencer's best Spider-Man story yet, but I don't know about the ending of this issue. Seeing Peter's reaction to Osborn's possible demise was very interesting, but the Spider Army? We'll see.

Amazing Spider-Man #48

You'd never notice the man. He doesn't like to be noticed. He's quiet. Calm. Never complains. If someone were to walk up and shoot him in the head... all he'd do is die.
Until night falls. And someone else gets up again.
The man's name is Banner.

It all started greatly (with a plot twist and very good spin-offs about the character's motivations)... And the ending is just so bland and dull. Everything is back to normal, people who looked dead are alive and Tony Stark saves the day with generic hero sentences. Not much to talk about. Big crossovers are always disappointing as of late.

Story is still kind of meh, to dark for my taste in a Spider-Man book, as well as the art, however I get what they are doing with the tone. I can't help but feel like this is just something orchestrated by Norman Osborn though and that Kindred is really just someone in Osborn's family, although he isn't at all in this issue.
