Jul 14, 2023This year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Annual is a light and overpriced read. Yea, this is a friggin great issue. Very simple story, using maybe ideas we've seen before, maybe a little bit of Last Ronin vibes, but the execution is so, so good. I already wanna see more of this new future guy, he seems like he's been through a lot. Using Santos as the artists means you're getting some of the slickest anime esque action around and it works well for this book. Only thing keeping this from being a 10 is that some of the premise is a little too similar to Last Ronin.
