Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon has been enjoyable. Whether it’s the introduction of Teri O’Barnes or the developing connection between Coulson and Logan, this story feels unique. Zdarsky put his whole heart into this comic rather than just using it as a path to move closer to the main event of Armageddon. Weapons of Armageddon feels like an undercard with the energy of a main event, and that is a testament to this creative team. Read Full Review

The hunt for answers leads Logan and David Colton to an unexpected backdrop as their mystery becomes more clear. Zdarsky gives much depth to Colton’s involvement with the writing. The art delivers on the strong action expected for this series. Brace for impact because this finale is going to be nothing but fireworks! Read Full Review

WoA #3 is a serviceable issue but lacks the impact of what a penultimate issue should be. With one more issue left, hopefully it can end strong. Read Full Review

Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon #3 does a good job of setting up the series finale. Luca Maresca and Jesus Aburtov provide some great art once again but Chip Zdarsky’s narrative is falling a bit flat for me. The flashback sub-plot, featuring David Colton during his early days as Captain America, was a personal highlight of the issue for me. Next issue certainly has a lot riding on it as Armageddon quickly approaches. Read Full Review

    Plot
Tori Obarnes, Wolverine, and David Colton, the unknown Captain America, escape Nuke's attack; however, Tori is critically wounded and dies. Wolverine and Colton go to the base where they know Tyler is, who is threatening Mr. Pruet, the owner of Prime Warrior.

Wolverine and Colton arrive too late to witness one of Prime Warrior's super-soldiers massacre all the soldiers at the base.

The comic reveals that David Colton and Chuck were two experiments in Project Renewal, but the serum caused heart problems. Colton survives, but only with the help of Tony Stark's technology.

An exciting and impactful penultimate chapter of this saga where the Prime Warrior experiment will unleash irreversible consequences more
