    The Twilight Zone #3 is less about fear in the moment and more about the quiet horror of human priorities. What begins as a brutal war story slowly transforms into a reflective, almost melancholy meditation on belief, violence, and the strange things that endure long after humanity is gone, all elevated by Stokoe's immaculate art and a classic, sting-in-the-tail twist.     When a writer is left to DO WHATEVER THEY WANT IN A COMIC BOOK, having carte blanche to do so, the creative freedom that should be used to tell good stories and actually convey a message to the reader gives way to their worldview and the opportunity to impose their ideology. Here, in the third issue, is my FAREWELL to IDW's Twilight Zone. It's unacceptable to be entertained by a comic that begins with a battle between two factions for power and then descends into banal moralism that supports megacorporations like Coca-Cola and encourages consumerism, when that crap has enough glucose to destroy the body of whoever consumes it.
