it is honestly shocking how this book is SUPERIOR compared to the Amazing Spider-Man books. While Dan Slot dropped the ball on End of Spider-Verse, this series is so far a lot of fun. Good art too, I actually want this series to end strong.

Dan Slott continues to proves he's one of the all time great Spider-Man writers. This was such a fun issue with a compelling story and cool nods to the past. Thank god we have this to enjoy with the main ASM series being so awful.

This is not a serious book. You could even say it is a silly book. But that certainly does not mean that it's a bad book. The humor is the driving force. Together with sharp dialogue and polished art, it makes it fun to accept the silliest of plot developments. Spidey and Ock have amazing chemistry, and they do get a few spots of deeper characterization that lend weight to the story.
