    AIPT - Collier Jennings Mar 19, 2025

Avengers #24 closes out its heist story the only way the Avengers could: as big as possible. Mackay is working as much as he can to make sure the Avengers are a team to follow, and with artists like Karami he's definitely succeeding in delivering the kind of stories you'd expect from Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The Comicbook Dispatch - StoryBabbler Mar 19, 2025

Avengers #24 concludes this cosmic heist as Kang reveals the ace up his sleeve and the heroes have to switch gears to save the day. The art continues to be the best part of the series. The actual plot and characters are okay, Black Cat continues to steal the show, but the other characters are just okay with Kang being the weakest written of the bunch. While the resolution wraps things up as neatly as possible, the ending is either going to excite or worry readers. Read Full Review

    Plot
Black Cat and Kang escape to Kang's ship, leaving everyone in Grandmaster's casino to die because Nag's fleet is attacking the ship. Kang betrays Felicia and she announces that he will have bad luck.

Vision managed to hack Kang's system and teleport everyone in the casino, including Grandmaster and Myrddin. Grandmaster takes Kang and returns the Avengers to Impossible City and Felicia and her Father to 20 years in the past, where they both forgive each other.

The Avengers have the codex with the "missing moment", but the ship tells them that Doctor Doom is now the Leader of the entire planet Earth.

Exciting closing chapter of the story arc where the Avengers must put aside the Tribulations Ev more

The art continues to be great, but this run continues to display the fact that Jed Mackay cannot write team books. The story is completely nonsensical. They steal something in a heist fashion only to have an armada waiting outside. Why didn't they just use the armada to demand they turn over the drive to begin with? Then they magically teleport all of the people onto Kang's ship. How did they know that the people wouldn't teleport into a console? They don't know the layout or the interior size of the ship. The best part was Jessica with her father. Jed should have developed that more, but I think team books are too overwhelming for him. Sadly, this is my last issue of Avengers. I'm dropping the title.
