In the heart of the Cirque du Sin, a carnival game is played for the souls of Blüdhaven’s children. But whether Nightwing wins or loses, the outcome of this game will have repercussions for his city forever.
Watters drives "Cirque du Sin toward its finale with a bold, ensemble-driven chapter that balances Nightwing's personal descent into the circus with chaos spilling across Bldhaven. V Ken Marion and Veronica Gandini elevate the spectacle, making this feel like a blockbuster issue rather than a simple stepping stone. Read Full Review
. The dark visuals of this issue make for a nice contrast with the more action-packed segments, and it's interesting that this ties in so heavily with the 5th dimension stuff that Tom Taylor debuted with Nite-Mite. The concept is so often used with more comic elements in the Superman books that it's pretty rare to see it used for horror, like it was very effectively during the Emperor Joker story long ago. At times, the issue can feel a bit confusing and hard to follow, but it remains engaging and succeeds in keeping the reader curious. As this arc moves toward its conclusion, readers will want to stay tuned to see how everything ultimately comes together. Read Full Review

Even though the art isn't as good as Dexter Soy, the pacing, and writing for Nightwing, Oracle and Martian Manhunter is solid. I just realize that this is one of the first few times Dick Grayson talks to Martian Manhunter
I like the art, but I think Soy’s was better for what they were trying to do with this arc.
