Casagrande and Pimentel deliver some amazing art in this issue. The action is top notch and filled with visual thrills and excitement. There is an awesome splash page in the book that showcases how great a character Natasha is and the moment is perfectly executed. Read Full Review
Black Widow #15 is a strong close to one of the best series that Marvel has been published. Kelly Thompson, Elena Casagrande, Elisabetta D'Amico, Rafael R. Pimentel, and Jordie Bellaire were a phenomenal creative team. They can all be proud of the magic they created with this series. If you have not read this volume of Black Widow I highly recommend checking out the trade collections immediately. It is truly special and I hope we see this creative team work together again in the future. Read Full Review
Natasha's adventures end for now in a bit of a rush. She's earned the rest at the end of the series, though. There might have been a bit more of a satisfying end to this issue of Thompson, and company would have had like...maybe twice as many issues as they did to tell the same amount of story. Natasha, Yelena, and company have developed a fun rapport that is beginning to develop into something respectably unique...just in time for the end of their series. Read Full Review
All in all, Black Widow #15 is an appropriate end to a run that has thrived on first-class visuals and groundbreaking action sequences, but lacked in written plot. With a bit more time to tie up loose ends, the series' conclusion may well have been more satisfying. However, the controversial choice of giving Widow a child will inevitably prove difficult to consolidate going forward. Read Full Review
While not the run's best issue, Black Widow #15 does offer a little bit of everything we've come to expect from the creative team including several of our heroes kicking ass while supporting their friend and more of Spider-Girl‘s wisecracking along the way (I'm pretty sure it's Anya who I'll miss most here). There are also a couple of surprises including the return of a recent foe whose own story looks far from finished. As for what's next for Widow and the various members of her motley crew, well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Read Full Review
Such a dam shame that an excelent book as this one had to end. I really wish to see Kelly Thompson and Elena Casagrande on a Black Widow book real soon.
This was one of the best comics on the shelves, and it should have run forever. I've been reading superhero comics long enough to know they get cancelled all the time, but this one hurts
Really sad that this series is coming to an end. In my opinion one of the best Marvel series we got at all. This is the definitive Black Widow run for me.
Idk how. But I went into this issue not privy to the fact that it is the last issue of this run. When I got to the final page, I audibly decried the discovery. Not because this book or any of its previous issues did not satisfy me, but because that means for now I can no longer look forward to picking up this book off the shelf every month and let me tell you that SUCKS.
This has been for the last 15 months one of the best books Marvel is currently publishing bar none. Its not always that every single facet of a creative team kills it in every regard but Thompson, Casagrande and grew did just that each and every time. I absolutely love what they did with Nat here, a character with surprisingly few iconic runs to her name for suc more
It's a satisfying end for the arc, but a tiny bit of a letdown as the end of the series. And though I'm sure it was planned all along, this does make a mockery of the previous issue's cliffhanger.
The script features few words, but they're chosen with exquisite care. The structure is tight and the pace is good. The art is impressive without any reservations, and all the more impressive as a collaborative effort. I'm glad we get to see one last Casagrande action DPS before it's all over.
Canceled way too early noooo
A solid finale, if a bit rushed. Sad to see this one go.
Shame on marvel for killing this book
