The FF deals with a few varying conflicts for this chapter. North balances out the drama with a few stronger key parts mixed in. Ramos and the art team present classic imagery fitting for the First Family. Big stakes. Family Bonding. impossible situations. This is what Fantastic Four stories are all about. Read Full Review

I have to say, I didn't hate this issue. There's some actual team fun, the pseudo science isnt completely idiotic and there's an intriguing mystery at the end. This issue would probably have worked much better as the first issue of this run, than the actual first issue. But of course there's the usual bad stuff too: the bland Humberto Ramos art, the waste of page space on trivial bullshit and the great creative license Ryan North takes with the FF's powers. All in all, FF #6 is not great, but probably as good as it gets under this creative team.
