    Greg Pak pens another INCREDIBLE issue in his fantastic run on the Darth Vader series. This issue, and the last few issues are about as can't miss as it gets. It's one that Star Wars fans are going to want to pick up at their comic book shops and read ASAP. If you haven't been keeping up with the series, do yourself a favor and jump on now!     Star Wars: Darth Vader #49 brings the penultimate issue to this run. Darth Vader is being tortured by the vengeful MARS Corps, while Luke Skywalker fends off attacks from Administrator Moore and the Schism Imperial. There are some underwhelming parts to the comic, but the best parts are seeing Luke Skywalker in action fighting off the Schism Imperial's strikes, and the issue does a solid job setting up the finale between Vader and the Schism Imperial.     Like the more recent issues, it's hard to invest in any of the ramifications of this current journey, as we're meant to believe we could be headed towards a game-changing reveal, yet we already know exactly how the relationship between Luke and Vader plays out, while the supporting characters are all relatively unexciting.
