Ding ding ding! Let the tournament begin! The most ruthless fighters in the DCU compete for the ultimate prize: eternal life. To win his first round, Damian Wayne faces two times the danger and two times the trouble: it’s Ravager and Flatline versus Robin!
This issue is a continuation of greatness in a series that this team hopefully continues on for years to come. I want the League and Robin and company to grow and really make waves in the DC Universe. Do not sleep on this issue. Read Full Review

The more I read, the more I'm convinced that this series is giving us one of the very best Damian Wayne stories ever… and there's still so much left to find out! The best part is that we're never left unsatisfied, as Williamson's slowly letting things slip. The series somehow feels super fast and action-packed while also having a slow burn plot-line. You always want to keep coming back to read more, because the team is just that good! I will never miss an issue of this run! Read Full Review
Will I ever tire of saying you should read this book? Probably not. You should read this book. It's consistently shown solid pacing, wonderful character work, amazing art, and balances fun and plot in a way that keeps me coming back for more every month. Every issue you can really feel how much the creative team themselves has enjoyed working on this book, and it makes reading it all the better. All of that is true for this issue. Williamson does an excellent job balancing plot, giving us character backstory, and packing the book full of action. Read Full Review

Robin #6 by Joshua Williamson is not a bad issue whatsoever. We are finally witnessing the Tekken-style combat tournament that originally hooked us in the beginning. The art is top-notch while the advertisements are distracting. Overall, I would recommend reading this issue. WE are FINALLY at the tournament and things are just starting to heat up! Robin continues to be a great delight to delve into, and as the Lazarus Tournament reaches its climax, we are still left guessing what is behind it all. Wonderful storytelling and terrific art blend together to make this layered story a breeze to read through and encourages revisiting in a great way. Read Full Review
The Lazarus Tournament has officially begun and there is no time wasted with showcasing the fighters in Robin #6. Joshua Williamson and Gleb Melnikov do a great job working together to put over the stakes of the tournament through all the various fights. In the middle of all the fighting we got a lot of great character work for Robin, Ravager, Connor Hawke, Flatline, and Respawn. There really is nothing more that can be asked for except wanting the next issue immediately. Read Full Review
Both action and intrigue are on full display here, providing readers little room to breathe until they are ready to watch what will unfold next" only to realize that it will be a long wait for next month's issue. Read Full Review
The tournament has started and...... Well, it's a pretty bland/boring bit to this book that is more concerned with recapping what we've been doing than really showing us something cool or even making sure we know the characters participating in the deathmatch. That being said, the book looks great and the core characters that we have are fun together and really boost this book with some heart that I look forward to getting more of. Read Full Review
Fight ! Fight ! Fight ! Fight !
Loving the series so far. I initially thought the idea of a tournament a bit cliché but, to my surprise, it has proven to be enjoyable. The realization that there may be more to the tournament than the winner being granted eternal life certainly is interesting. Cant wait for next issue.
This book makes me so happy. It’s just Joshua Williamson writing Damian at his absolute best, while also having an amazing time fleshing out some of these tournament fighters, and still delivering fun action and solid writing every issue. This book probably isn’t a 10/10 per se, but Williamson clearly puts so much care into it, that it sure does feel like one to me.
This book is perfect.
This Mortal Kombat tournament is really interesting and exciting to read.
i really liked the pannels that gave a snapshot to all the fights. good use of briefly making a world feel big. and they've done well to make me have interest in multiple characters' outcomes.
kind of annoying to spend five issues on setting up the tournament and use one issue to knock out multiple rounds of damian's fights. seems like it's difficult for writers to not do background info dumps and i guess present day gets scrunched into montage fight scenes.
This continues to be consistently well drawn, well written, and most importantly, a lot of fun. Williamson and Melnikov have a hit the nail on the head perfectly with Damian's characterization and the bits with Flatline were some of my favorite parts of the issue.
I like how this isn't the manga stylizations of tournaments. I think that might be why Damian prefers slice-of-life manga. Instead it focuses on the character interactions and Damian's detective skills on this series' plot.
This is pretty good. It's a fun tournament arc story. That's all.
"I like this one, Master Damian"
And I like it too.
This is a good book. A nicely paced story, that doesn't drag even a bit, with a spot-on characterization of the title hero and gorgeous looking art and colors.
Good job.
O torneio finalmente começou, mas você não vai ver ele. Está edição só torna a edição anterior uma grande perda de tempo.
Qual a grande surpresa? Vó do Damian? Meio irmão do Damian?
Receoso com o que está por vir com Joshua Willianson escrevendo Robin, Deathstroke e Batman.
