This character-focused issue really lays out all the players and raises the stakes for what's to come. Read Full Review
‘Strange Academy: Finals' leans into all that has made this magical series such a delight through its two volumes, focusing on the fleshed-out characters that should have a place in the Marvel Universe for many years to come. Despite what many might believe, this series perfectly showcases that teenage character books can work within the Marvel Universe as a whole and is a perfect blueprint for not only more teen-focused books but just well-written character books. Ramos delivers some beautifully detailed visuals throughout the issue and I love the details in the characters as well as how brilliantly the style works with the themes of the series and its characters. Read Full Review

If there's one thing for certain, it's that both Young and Ramos care deeply about this batch of characters, that much is evident through their consistent work on this book. Read Full Review
Just like The Ultimates (Blue Marvel team) this book & Strange Academy before it, is the most slept on right now.
This was a really good issue in my opinion, but I agree with the reviewer Fraidy Cat; I wish they'd dealt a little more with the aftermath of the end of last issue. Kinda weird for them to just gloss over that.
This series, this issue included, as has been consistently awesome. I could read about these characters sitting around eating lunch and chatting and it would probably still be a great read since each one is just so likable. Do yourself a favour and pick up the previous trades, support this series because it' an under-rated gem.
Overall enjoyable & likeable characters. Wish they showed & explained better the aftermath of German burning down French Quarter.
As usual, I could pick a bunch of nits off the script. And as usual, the art is stellar and the characters are endearing.
What I'd rather focus on with this issue is a rare and under-appreciated quality this volume has. I wind up saying "this'll read better in trades" with a lot of series. This one is the reverse: Each issue is nicely self-contained and satisfying while still advancing the larger plot. Strange Academy and SA: Finals read really well month-to-month, and I wish more titles did.
