Blood Hunt only has two issues left, but the creative team is more or less saying they plan to deliver a hell of an ending with this issue. Read Full Review

The Comicbook Dispatch - Dispatchdcu Jun 12, 2024

Overall, Blood Hunt #3 is a suspenseful and action-packed chapter that deepens the conflict and throws a curveball at the heroes. Pick it up if you're enjoying Blood Hunt and want to see the heroes face even greater challenges. If you prefer a more optimistic superhero story, you might want to skip this series. Nerd Initiative - Ken M. Jun 12, 2024

An Avenger takes the spotlight by force with a turning point felt around the MCU. MacKay pens a balanced issue while the latter half elevates the chapter. Larraz, Gracia and Petit constrict the highly emotional reactions to Marvels bloody event with ease. The saga leaves with another big moment to exemplify why this is no ordinary story. Its an event for a reason. Read Full Review

    Graphic Policy - Brett Jun 12, 2024

Blood Hunt #3 is a solid issue with an epic ending that feels familiar but grand at the same time. What's been interesting is that while the event is on a planetary scale, it still feels small and focused. It's very smart in a lot of ways keeping the distractions to the tie-ins and mini-series that have spun out to it. While the threat is huge, it's an intimate story of hope while facing the threat of annihilation. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Weird Science Jim Jun 12, 2024

Blood Hunt #3 does little to progress the story and even less in terms of explanation and excitement. Yet another cliffhanger falls flat and Sam Wilson's Independence Day speech was more cringe that inspirational. The event so far has been uninspired and while I hope Jed MacKay can turn that around in the final issues, I don't have my hopes up. The art by Pepe Larraz is great, though, and is the reason my score is as high as it is. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez Jun 14, 2024

Blood Hunt #3 assembles the Avengers before splitting them into teams to tackle the vampire apocalypse on multiple fronts. Larraz's art is fantastic, but this story is almost all setup, posturing, and speeches that fail to build hype for whatever comes next. Read Full Review

This is a good event comic. it uses its tie-ins well, while also balancing them all, it's easy to read, with each issue being clearly and neatly constructed, and it has great and well-communicated vibes, but Pepe Larraz elevates everything about it to infinity. Even when so much of it, is static, he still manages to make it shine in different ways and create moments that I feel will be imprinted into my memory. What more does an event need really?

I know the speech Cap gives is similar to one he already gave (this is pointed out in the issue and is intentional), but man... It's such a good speech.

This event sucks. I don't like Blade as the big bad. Thor was already the most powerful character in the whole marvel universe. Now he has the Odinforce(I guess Thorforce now) but is still hanging out with the Avengers is stupid enough as is. Now he is getting beat by a bunch of vampires. Odin was on the level of Phoenix, Galactus, etc, yet he is somehow seemingly less powerful than he was doesn't make sense to me and it is really killing the story for me.
Sam Wilson's speech was way too corny. The whole team got their asses handed to them, but last issue they decide to win because they are the Avengers and that's what they do. Trash. I'm done with this event. I give it a 2.5 because the art is good.
