I guess I'm just having a hard time dealing with how easy Spider-Man was beaten by Tombstone. Unless they are going to explain a big strength upgrade I don't get it. Spider-Man would be dead by now if Tombstone who is much weaker beats him by putting him in a bear hug. The rest of the story can do whatever it wants, but it doesn't work for me knowing him getting beaten so easily doesn't really makmore
• I know that this is just #3, but did you notice that it's LGY #897? That means something big is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
• There are things you don't know about Tombstone.
• Neither you, nor Spider-Man, will ever forget them.

I don't know what comic those critics read but it wasn't this one! I was enjoying spiderman a lot until Beyond didn't stick the landing but then it just got so much worse.
The arts okay. Not really to my liking but I've seen enough John Romita Jr to be okay with it.
There's just nothing to like here, story wise. For me, reading comics is at its best when the characters are more
• The best couple in comics is done?
• You aren't going to believe what is happening in this volume of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
I don't disagree that not much happened at all and I understand people's frustrations with Peter's characterization as we don't know why exactly he is acting the way he is but at least in regards to him losing that fight, after Beyond it was clear he wasn't at 100% and is likely still recovering. If not from that than from whatever happened to him '6 months ago' that will hopefully explore why he is treating his life the way he is.
I'm just catching up on all my back issues but I completely agree. Tombstone is not as strong as spiderman and nowhere near as fast and doesn't have a spider sense. He should be able to just overpower tombstone. I liked the issue until this point.

On the one hand, each issue I love the concepts. On the other hand, keeping track of who is who, what gender they are, and what their sexuality is keeps me from fully understanding what I’m reading. I think the art makes it confusing along with so many of them seemingly LGBTQ+. It’s a lot to keep track of and I’m not doing that great. (That is not meant to imply in any way that the LGBTQ+ comore

I know they are trying to turn qira and crimson dawn into this powerful group that moves behind the shadows but it just doesn't really work. This book has quickly gone from “first comic of the week I read” to “meh.” And in all fairness, I gave it a shot. We’re four issues in. It’s not horrible, it’s just kinda boring. If you’re going to switch the focus from Eddie to Dylan, make a compelling case why. So far, that’s not been done.
The villainous LIFE FOUNDATION is back - and they have DYLAN BROCK DEAD IN THEIR SIGHTS! Led once again by the insidious Carlton Drake, the symbiote-hunting organization has larger ambitions than ever before, and with ARTHUR KRANE in the palm of their hand, they finally have the political leverage to make them a reality.
I still can't get into Ram V's writing, as much as I try and I really am trying. I love Venom and I am even warming up to Dylan, but Ram V just makes every book he writes very decompressed and boring. He takes a nice concept and manages to make it dull. I really hope next issue Ewing pushes this book in some exciting territory because I'm not feeling this at all.

This series is one of the few that I still buy, even though in some strange way Eddie seems to be still trapped in the symbiote, that makes him much more protective of his son. Idea that I love.
