Good issue in a solid side story of Blood Hunt. Good interactions between Wolverine and Nightguard when they were on camera, and then Wolverine later utilizing that advantage himself by having Nightguard turn him. Great art too. Enjoying this mini series a lot.

This continues to be one of the better tie-in miniseries for Blood Hunt, despite not really being connected to the bigger picture that much. Ryp's art, once again, fits Wolverine really well and Waltz's story is fairly entertaining.

I wouldn't go so far as to say this series is winning me over, but I'm making peace with the modest scope of its intentions.
This is about Wolverine and Nightguard dicing up vampires. The artist does a great job of making it look clear and gory. The author is…adequate at explaining it, keeping the pace brisk, and trying some action movie one-liners.
I respect the fact that there are two good twists (one heroic, one villainous) to make the conflict a little more interesting than non-stop dicing would be.
But after #1 did such a conscientious job re-introducing Nightguard, I was hoping that the antagonists (who are all d-listers from 2010's "Curse of the Mutants" event) would get a little more texture than "THIS set more -
