The book will continue, this wasn't the last issue
ERUPTION! DOMINO, KID OMEGA and WOLVERINE head back into the thresher to recover the precious cargo stolen from Krakoa! If the team can survive the volcanic eruption and stormy seas, there’s still the organization behind the plot—the reveal of which will have major ramifications on the next issues of X-FORCE! And the debut of the next wave of Mutant technology! Move over, Blackbird jet!
X-Force #26 is a quiet masterpiece in character-first storytelling, introspective and wise in its study of two of the X-Men's most cantankerous personalities. You'd be wise not to miss this one. Read Full Review
X-Force #26 is so much better than its going to get credit for. Percy uses this two-issue story to talk more about relationships and how people help each other than anything else. It makes this story more than the sum of its parts and another example of why Percy is one of the better writers on the X-Men books right now. Gill and GURU-eFX make a great art team, gelling well. This issue shows why this book is versatile and adds more to all involved. Read Full Review
Unfortunately, the Krakoa age has seen the legacy of X-Force tarnished a bit. The initial concept was to take action. However, XENO has left the team of spies reacting after the fact. First there was what happened with Domino. Now they have intel and access to the island. Could there be a mole in the agency, a spy among them? Here is hoping the pity party doesn't last long as the island nation of Krakoa and it's inhabitants are depending on them. Read Full Review
Overall, this is a serviceable issue with a heavy dose of Kid Omega if that happens to be your thing. Otherwise, you may want to pick up X-FORCE after this arc. Read Full Review
It makes for an entertaining, if quite unbalanced affair. Read Full Review
Way better than last issue. XENO is back, finally!
Another good issue for this current storyline. I enjoyed Quentin's appearance in this issue more than the previous, so that's good. This was a solid close to his romance with Phoebe, though I also feel like Percy could continue it if he likes. As long as the story is good. As for Logan's side of things, that was good as well. I think Percy continues to show that he has a nice grasp on his character.
LOVE HURTS
I think everything here works well enough. It's solid.
Lets be gentiles for this time.
This issue is a curious blend of touchy-feely talk and surftastic action. I think it works to a certain degree, but the storytelling techniques are more impressive than the content they convey.
The art is good. The script builds nice thematic parallels between the experiences of different characters.
But it doesn't dive too deep into the characters and it doesn't advance the plot too far. It's an enjoyable read, but the desire for something a little more profound risks turning this into a disappointment.
For a last issue, it was decent.
The interactions between Wolverine and Kid Omega have always been some of my favorite X-Men bits. The begrudging respect between the two has really been earned over the last 10-15 years and the way Percy is able to highlight the further development of that respect is great. The baby plot always felt a bit tacked on to me last month, although it looks like it's got more legs considering the final page reveal.
"Hold tight... and hang ten!"
I think X-Force has so much potential, but I just don't think the surfing gimmick is actualizing it.
This surfing tangent plot has caused series to lose some steam.
Very dissapointing. Logan knew a woman for few hours and already had a deep connection with her
In volcanic ocean, shark jumps YOU.
This is my last issue of X-Force. I feel like cutting back on some series and this one has just got downhill. This issue and last were pretty bad. It just lacks any emotion, was corny and just boring.
