Checchettos art is fantastic. The fight between Matt and Elektra had the visual beauty and style of a dance being played out on the page and the final moments of the issue were visually satisfying and exciting to see unfold. Read Full Review
FINAL THOUGHTSChip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto deliver an emotional and thrilling comic book with Daredevil #12. From beginning to end we see how Matt Murdock's journey led him to make the decision he made to enter his final fight. The way Elektra Natchios and Sam Chung factor into Matt's final decision was excellently crafted. It all leads to reminder of why this is one of the best comic books on the market. Read Full Review

I… don’t know what to say… this is the best issue I have ever read… it’s perfect. And the art… best I’ve seen in a comic book. Wow… I’m speechless.
That costume at the end is rad.
Many others have encapsulated my thoughts. Fantastic issue. What DD is all about. Bravo Chip, Bravo.
Perfection in comic book form.
This is why we read. This is what I'm here for and why I'll never leave.
I really wish I could say more to explain this feeling but I can't. This is cinema. This is art. Its beautiful. You see all those tens? They're legit. They are real.
When I started reading Zdarsky daredevil it was my first real run on the character. And yet.... I feel like I've been here for ages. Everything, his past present and future all comes to this.
If you've ever been a daredevil fan... even if you've not even started this run. Do it. From the beginning. Its worth it.
And see me back here.
This is absolutely phenomenal with brilliant writing and beautiful artwork. This has been one of my all-time favorite runs on daredevil and I really don't want it to end
This was one of the best books I have ever read. The art was mind blowing the story was gripping and the emotions that you felt where just WOW. My only thing is why does this have to come tonan end?? Well we will find out here in the next 3 books.
This run has been so incredible that it's almost a cliche at this point to say how good it is, but this issue really drives home what makes it so good.
Daredevil is often paired and contrasted with Spider-Man and the Punisher as his good and evil twins. Obviously the way his engagement with both moral and judicial laws makes him different from the Punisher has been done time and again, but it's really the contrast with Spider-Man that's revealing: whereas Spider-Man is cursed by "the ol Parker luck", a confluence of bad outcomes from unambiguously good actions, Matt Murdock is a man who makes his own luck — which makes it damning that all his luck is so bad. He's a tragic hero in the classical sense, a good man who will inevit more
Insane issue. Bad last couple issues but Im so glad this run acknowledged Blindspot and gave him purpose
Stupendous. Tragic, beautiful, disturbing—Zdarsky and Chechetto are going out with a bang.
Also I’m so happy we finally got to see Blindspot again! I thought he’d be forever ignored.
It's epic. Just epic.
It's an elegant and powerful chapter thanks to all-around formidable storytelling.
Death is rarely permanent in comics, particularly not in this franchise. The script makes enough nods and hangs enough lampshades on that to establish awareness without compromising the drama.
Of course, the real tragedy is that the lack of true death cuts both ways. Even if Daredevil wins big, his win is unlikely to be permanent.
Quibble: I maintain that "Daredevil fights Elektra and it's a sexy dance" is an over-used cliche. This is one of the most beautiful executions of it, though.
a very fun and good issue right now. Great art and writing. I cant wait to see how this ends.
Checchetto's art is amazing!
Another fine book by Zdarsky, but can we stop trying to "drag" Matt "lower?!" I need to be able to root for my heros, and it's hard to do that when I know their writers have it in for them! (Wells, I'm looking at you!)
Am I the only one who didn't think this was the best thing ever? I'm a huge fan of this run, but I did not feel the connection with this issue. I found parts of it to be really well crafted. I just can't put my finger on why I didn't love it.
