So I haven't written a review for a very long time on here for any book that I'm currently reading. So here goes...... This was a absolutely phenomenal story by Chip.The references to all of the past joker story's and origins is just what we need remember the end of 141 with Bruce and joker in a cell together. There is a reason this story is being told. Becuse it ties it all together with Bruce Z ur/Failsafe and Joker. And just incase people forget this story arc was pitched along time ago and if the editors didn't think it was going to work it would not have happen. I know this is supposed to be a review but I have to rant as well becuse of so much hate this man has gotten for his batman run. I'm going to end it with this and you can hate me for it run me thru the coals I have thick skin and time heals all but if you.dont like the book drop it and stop being so hateful we have enough in this world. more

Wow! What a absolute triumph of a book. I have been reading comic books since the early '90's and love it now more than ever. Stories like this steeped in emotion with beautiful character moments and heart really reinforce my love for these stories. What a amazing read this was I wish I could score it higher than 10

Now this is my kind of story!! This book is incredible I absolutely love the direction they are taking this character. The writing is brilliant and the artwork is beautiful. If you ask me black adam is a must read

My goodness xmen red was a ride man. As I started it admittedly I began getting frustrated with myself as I was having trouble comprehending some of the dialog. However I kept reading and next thing I knew I was so completely enveloped in the story. I was so impressed with this issue. I love lactuca I hope they continue to use and develop that character along with ironfire. It just doesn't get any better than this! When it's all said and done this era of x-men is going to go down as one of my all-time favorite comic book storylines. Absolutely tremendous more

I could not be more into this story than I am! I was absolutely mesmerized by how incredibly awesome this was! After rereading issue one (which I loved as well) I read this one and was blown away. Johnathan hickman is without question my favorite current writer his stories continually blow my mind and give me everything I want in a storyline. I think if I had access to Johnathan hickman's grocery list I'd want to read it because I bet he'd even make that incredible lolmore

Wow! This volume of the avengers is coming out of the gates strong! This issue was the best one of the first three and has the makings of an absolutely epic story! I love it!!

I. Love. This. Run! North has put so many insanely creative, high concept ideas into the first couple of arcs, and this issue is no exception. A cool one-shot with a Doctor Who feel (a good episode of Doctor Who, though), I just can't get over how wonderfully weird this series has been. It's exactly what the Fantastic Four has needed.

I have to say this has been such a fantastic week! I had 12 books in my pull list and have loved pretty much every single one! This vol of iron man has been tremendous and it certainly doesn't let up here. This was probably my favorite issue of this volume so far! My only complaint is I ran out of pages when I reached the back cover lol. I can't wait for the next chapter this is fantastic

The two previous writers on venom are two of my favorites and while I really like torunn grønbekk she is fairly new to me. This issue was absolutely phenomenal though and if this is the direction this book is going I couldn't be more excited!! The dialog was fantastic as was the artwork. What happens on the last page made me jump out of my seat with excitement! One of my favorite characters in th e marvel universe who hasn't been used much of late meeting a new friend has me so elated! I absolutely love every single panel of this one!more

This was an absolute masterpiece in every single way! The x-books continue to be brilliant!!

I really enjoyed issue 1 it had a great flow and I was really intrigued by the plot. This was Deadman doing a bit of detective work while inhabiting the body of the greatest detective of all time. I really like the pacing so far as building a back story and motivations is really important to me. I also love how Deadman is Taking center stage as he is one of the dc characters I really like that doe sn't get used enough imo. I'm a huge fan of everything justice league dark so this is all right up my alley but I do have to say I'm really shocked we haven't seen some jld characters that you'd expect such as swamp thingbor Constantine. Overall this was a really good book with beautiful artwork that matched the tone of the plot perfectly. I think this story and concept could really be phenomenal if done right and we are off to a great albeit imperfect startmore

Absolutely phenomenal!! I don't know that it's possible to like a book more. So much going on in this issue including some big developments and every single one of them was interesting and exciting to me. I loved the dialog and pacing of the story as well. I love it!

This book is absolutely brilliant!! This is already one of my favorite runs on detective as ram v is one of the best writers out there and it shows with a brilliant thought provoking emotionally driven story like this. Ivan reiss is a brilliant artist as well and turns in some stunning artwork that matches the tone of the story perfectly. The backup story is also fantastic making this a unbelievab ly phenomenal book. This issue blew me away ram v is a brilliant writer and is giving me everything I could ever want in a detective comic! Perfection I can not wait for the next chapter!!!!more
