It's a perfect setup for a packed final two issues, and probably the best Joker story in a long time"even though the killer clown appears in all of one panel this issue. Read Full Review

Im really going to miss this series in a few months when it has reached its conclusion. That said, I appreciate a book that knows its scope and steps offstage before it overstays its welcome. And while this is really only nominally a Joker book, it may well be the best Jim Gordon story in years. Read Full Review
All roads end with next issues big season finale. Tynion has set the stage beautifully and theres no reason to suspect he wont nail the landing. Read Full Review
THE JOKER is an exciting thrill ride that gets to the real heart, as well as the nasty grime, of humanity. Read Full Review
The Clown Prince of Crime's ongoing series is one that is able to really give readers an insight into the mind of Jim Gordon, taking the opportunity to unravel the mystery of who has been hunting the Joker. Read Full Review
Writer James Tynion and his creative team clear the board as The Joker reaches its final few issues. There's a cool action piece that opens The Joker #12, but the rest of the issue is devoted to making sure all of the pieces are in place. Read Full Review
While things are coming to a head in the Joker hunt, the revelations in this issue left me wanting more because they seem out of nowhere and don't feel like they fit with anything we've seen from other books in the main DC continuity. The art is great and the backup feels like it's finally getting somewhere interesting but the swerve in this issue and the constant meandering leaves me wanting more. Read Full Review
I'm torn between wanting to know the answers and being frustrated by this rush to the end and that's not a great place to leave readers in my mind. Read Full Review
Cant get enough of this phenomenal series! Great plot twist!
Great issue with cool plot twist in the end.
Not gonna win any converts. If you like it, you like it. If you hate it, you hate it. Almost close to the end.
I actually cut this comic for a couple issues to save myself a few bucks, but I bought it by accident this week and goodness am I glad I did. It really is a shame we're coming to the end of Tynion-written Bat comics in a couple issues
this is actually very interesting, and I'm excited to see how this ends and the plot twist is actually very good.
Fucking called it! I called it that Bane isn't dead. I really didn't like the way Tynion inserted his depressing rhetoric into Gordon's mouth, that doesn't sound like Gordon at all, it sounds more like Tynion's boring "ideas" about society which he peppered through his Batman run too, which is odd because so far his voice for Gordon was spot on. But the twist is indeed good.
This issue is just a whole bunch of exposition that really doesn't explain much about this issue's big twist, but maybe that's coming next issue. The twist itself leads to a ton of questions about a certain character's plan, and why the hell they did any of this, but I'll wait for next issue to make or break that. I'm just mad because it kind of ruins a moment in a... genuinely better series. The backup is super annoying if you've ever been in a courtroom for any reason, which I'm sure most people have. Why would Punchline be in her costume? Why would she be paraded around the front of the courthouse? This backup is kind of a microcosm of my problems with this whole story. It feels like no one has thought this out, or really took advantage more
I just can’t buy Barbara getting caught so easy just so we can get a plot twist. It was all rather lazy for me. So let’s see. Oracle is not as smart as Jim Gordon who is almost smarter then Bane here but not as smart as Court of Owls lady but Jim is still out playing them all and oh Oracle is still a dummy in the end. Got it. Also Jim’s speech is pure hog trash. Jim Gordon believes in Socialism. Ok sure he does. Lol.
a lot of talking to basically say one thing lol
