It’s out of the Casters’ lair and into the fire as Zatanna takes a tumble down the rabbit hole—although the Order of the Rabbits themselves would tell you they prefer the term “bunny well.” Within, Zatanna finds her inability to perform real magic put to the test in a pulse-pounding fight for her life against a vicious champion the Rabbits call…the Destroyer of Souls.
This issue of Zatanna: Bring Down the House is a spectacular read that combines an intriguing mystery with a grotesque, magical joyride. Read Full Review
This is a perfect Black Label book, taking the core foundations of the character while putting them in a darker and stranger situation than you'd be able to pull off in a regular book. Looking forward to seeing how the last acts play out. Read Full Review

The artwork in this series does so much to show how Zatanna handles dealing with such crazy events as she can't avoid her destiny. It all further solidifies this as a can't miss series from DC Comics Read Full Review
Now that we are three issues in, I fear for some, this story may be moving too slowly and not have enough answers. It is not going to be for everyone, and this issue may be a make or break for readers. We continue to get breathtaking art, but the story has yet to truly reveal much, leaving us waiting for something more to happen. Read Full Review
Such a good issue, I’m so happy with how everything’s going and it truly has such a good plot
This series has been the surprise comic of the year for me. I'm not a fan of Zatanna, I know barely anything about the character other than she says spells backwards to cast magic, and I'm even much more of a Marvel person than DC. But I've been loving this book. The tone, the art (which also isn't my typical preference of style, but is very well done), the writing, everything is just incredibly entertaining. Love it.
This issue was much better than the first two. It could be summed up a Zatanna's no good, awful day.
That being said, it feels like Tamaki's jokes and voice for Zatanna landed much better this issue and the oddity psychodelic art of Rodriquez felt more in place this issue. Also I cant help but feel he drew Zatanna better this issue.
All in all, this issue felt tighter and better written than previous ones. Art made more sense. Only downside is that as others have said, this is going a touch slow. It is not a deal breaker for me but it doesn't boost the story at all.
This was a seriously weird slow burn that just never got going. It felt like Harry Potter meets Hellblazer and that is never a good thing. Sorry but even some of the art felt out of sequence or rushed. Hopefully back on track next month but I'm not holding out alot of hope for this book just now!......JM
