SciFiPulse - Ian Cullen
Apr 27, 2026This is a solid issue that continues to build on the story. That said, we still don’t know all that much about Klep Corp, the identity of the young girl, or her connection to the older woman, so there’s clearly plenty still to be revealed. Read Full Review

Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield
Apr 22, 2026This arc so far is a little lighter than the previous one – there’s a fantastic segment with the three vigilantes in Batman’s hatchback car with secret Batmobile abilities – but there are no shortage of high stakes as well. Read Full Review

The art locks in on the impact of both eras being brought together. Detective Comics continues to impress with every issue. Read Full Review

Apr 22, 2026Overall, Detective Comics #1108 is a solid Batman story (with a little bit more than just Batman). It’s probably not going to please fans who already didn’t at least somewhat like Tom Taylor’s work, but it’s good. I will say, as someone who hasn’t been keeping up with Detective Comics, I like Taylor switching things up, making this a team book. I don’t know if it will last, but I’m curious to read more and see where this mystery will take Batman and his superhero pals next. Read Full Review
