SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN! The four-part crossover event of a generation begins when a not-so-jolly St. Nick hits Gotham City to investigate a brutal crime in the days leading up to Christmas... What manner of man or beast could have committed such atrocities?! With the help of his former student, Batman, Santa will team up with the heroes of the DC Universe to right this wrong--or the world wakes up to coal in their stockings! A brutal, two-fisted holiday tale of hope, wonder, and monster hunting is the perfect treat to ring in the holidays--it's Claus in canon!

But Why Tho? - William Tucker

TL; DRBatman/Santa Claus: Silent Knight #1 is surprisingly evergreen. Whilst the main character is literally the symbol of Christmas and thick snow covers the Gotham ground, turning it into a monster-hunting horror comic gives the adventure the ability to be read any time of the year. Dark Knight News - Kendra Smart

I look forward to watching Santa team up with the Gotham gang as he tries to keep the world safe. What can go wrong with Batman getting trained by Santa Claus, an ancient Viking who slays beings who go bump in the night? The short answer is easier to explain. Batman and Santa Claus #1 gives us a gift that keeps giving. Read Full Review

The thing about this comic is, it sounds like a joke comic but it's really notat all. There's a serious threat that takes Batman out of his comfort zone, and Santa is another warrior from a different sector of heroism to partner with. It takes the absurdity of the concept for granted and instead gives us an action-packed winter thrill ride that fits perfectly in the DCU. Read Full Review

I'll admit, I came into Batman/Santa Claus: Silent Knight #1 not expecting much but boy I was wrong as far as that. The story is fun, entertaining, full of action, some laughs, good action, and perfect for the holiday season. Don't be naughty and sleep on this, it's what comics are supposed to be, fun entertainment. Just one issue in and I'm hoping this becomes a yearly tradition. Read Full Review

I did not expect to love Batman - Santa Claus: Silent Knight #1 quite as much as I did. It's a super fun story which features a heady mix of action, mythology and mystery. Jeff Parker's zippy writing fits perfectly with the dynamic style of artists Michele Bandini and Alex Sinclair. Read Full Review

This was a delightful holiday surprise, blending the gritty world of Gotham City with the whimsical magic of Christmas in an immensely fun miniseries debut. Jeff Parker and Michele Bandini create a campy, captivating story that is both thrilling and festive. Parker's writing is witty and sharp. He expertly balances the dark and dire elements of the Batman-style plot with the lightheartedness and wonder of Christmas lore. The dialogue is full of humorous exchanges, especially once Santa enters the picture, providing plenty of laughs while also setting up the story for the long haul. Parker's introduction of Santa to the larger DC Universe makes it seem like this was planned for decades and didn't feel forced at all (which it could have V more

I had a lot of fun with this issue. I don't think I would have chosen vampire bats as the main nemesis, but I like Krampus and Santa being pals for a while. It's awesome how Santa towers over everyone else and knows everyone's address. Looking forward to the next issue. My Comic Book Review Channel - https://youtu.be/7Lio3wOrgrY
