The Aspiring Kryptonian - David Beasley
I was genuinely stunned with how Superman #41 played out. There’s some pretty major developments I’m not sure they’re going to back away from making this a must read issue regardless of its placement within the crossover. Read Full Review

Sep 16, 2026Reading partial installments of an event is never a good thing, but I’m just not reading all the other books, and I’m not that keen on the event in general, especially as the opening salvo in Supergirl wasn’t all that strong. This issue at least presents something potentially fun with Ursa, but at the same time, ugh, more time travel. This has some fun moments overall, some solid artwork throughout, and a fun fight that has an interesting twist for Zod, but a lot of it just kind of left me feeling like I’m spinning the wheels until we get to Ursa changing the directio of everything. I love Superman, I love the art and story..but I hate it when from issue to issue it feels like a million things have happened and the story changes, there's no flow or continuity in the book, which I'm trying to collect but can't seem to follow unless I buy a million other books...how is this story already in part 4? DC is guilty of doing this way too much. It's also going on in Batman?
