The pairing of Taylor and Lucas Meyer helps create a dynamic story that's lighter on the script side and darker on the lines. Read Full Review
We're in a sort of bridge right now between two huge events, as the Titans have saved the world during Beast World, but now the dual threats of Amanda Waller and Trigon are looming. Read Full Review

Tom Taylor continues to kill it with Titans! The arc is developing rapidly with beautiful artwork to compliment it. As a result, each chapter reads like a TV episode. Read Full Review
Titans #9 continues to have the team deal with the fallout of Beast World by doing what they do best: saving people in need. Rather than simply talking about what they need to do to turn public sentiment around the Titans are actively showing the world they are there to protect everyone. Tom Taylor and Lucas Meyer make sure this is the emphasis from start to finish. Read Full Review
Much like he did with Heartless in Nightwing, Taylor probably needs to create some new villains and different threats for the Titans. Trigon feels played out and the Amanda Waller arc is on a slow burn until Absolute Power. Titans is in need of a spark as it feels like the DC universe's big team isn't having the kind of epic adventures and challenges they deserve. Read Full Review
Titans #9 is all setup, foreshadowing, and moving players in place for whatever comes next, but the lack of plot movement gets shortchanged in the process. Still, the potential is intriguing, and except for a ridiculous chest-puffing contest between Trigon and Waller, the character interactions serve the setup well. Read Full Review
Great art, combined with some sharp dialogue choices, makes this a fun read. However, Titans suffers from larger structural and characterization issues which make me worried about the viability of this arc moving forward. Read Full Review
Like most Tom Taylor books has gotten how this all began. In the first issue, the Flash was killed and went back in time to warn himself. I don't think that he ever resolved that story. IN the meantime, we have this story about Raven turning evil and becoming something darker. The pace of this story is good. I just hope he doesn't abbandon it, like he does the others.

Another solid issue. I think this storyline has potential and I'm looking forward to seeing it play out. I don't really have that much to say, honestly. I am glad to see Meyer as the ongoing series artist, as I think he's proved to be a pretty good pick already.
