MINISERIES FINALE
This explosive miniseries climax is a high-octane magical battle of good versus evil, as the remaining Magic Order wizards make a last stand against Madame Albany and the forces of darkness. Family bonds are tested, blood is spilled, and black magic threatens life as we know it.
Overall, I thought that this was a wonderful end to a wonderful arc. One of the best series of 2018/2019. Im gushing, I know, but I really do love this comic. Well done guys! Read Full Review
Mannnnn, all of this dope action, and I haven't even gotten to Olivier Coipel's phenomenal job on the artwork. Him and Dave Stewart combine to score big in this finale. When there are so many awe inspiring moments of mayhem and destruction deserved of praise, I like to highlight the subtle panels that wow. The first example popped out to me early in the issue, as Cordelia reveals her trump card. Madame Albany blurts out an absolutely stunned, “Oh no,” and Cordelia responds with a sly, “Oh YES” that was so minimal, yet so powerful. The panel features nothing but Cordelia's vibrant red lips replying with a wry, confident smile that made for a phenomenal tone setter. Read Full Review
Easily my favorite part of the issue was the final page as it wrapped everything in a perfect full circle moment as well as the announcement that this is just the end of Book One. There's plenty more magic to come with The Magic Order and I can't wait for the start of the next chapter. Read Full Review
It all comes down this final battle, and The Magic Order more than delivers with a bang. Read Full Review
As the capstone to a series, THE MAGIC ORDER #6 accomplishes everything it needs to. By the end of the issue, order is restored and the primary series question about the fate of the Moonstone family gets answered. Yet despite a definite conclusion, I felt that Cordelia's story got the short end of the character stick " at least until I took a deeper look. Olivier Coipel and the entire art team were true to 100% form. All in all, the series was a fun read, and the conclusion did not overtly disappont. Read Full Review

A stunning and satisfying conclusion to an absolutely remarkable series that hit all the right notes in every single department. Millar once again showing how great a writer he really is in partnership with another absolute dream team of artistic talent to bring this story to the page. I have followed this series since it was first announced and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to read an absolutely magnificently drawn, colored and lettered and superbly written tale of magic and family. Bring on volume two! Read Full Review
Cordelia is tasked with saving the world against the evil Madame Albany. The magic and madness and a couple of unexpected plot twists make for a thoroughly entertaining story. Just like her namesake, maybe she should have been listened to all along. Read Full Review
It has been obvious from day one that Cordelia would be the key to it all, but the way this one plays out is surprising and satisfying. Read Full Review
The Magic Order presents us with interesting characters and an interesting universe. Sadly that is what seems to make Millar's writing: great narrative construction but average narrative conduction as it has been a while since I read something of his that didn't feel rushed at the end. That being said, this is still an amazingly illustrated book that gives us a good read at the end of the day. Read Full Review
"The Magic Order" #6 has Mark Millar falling into some of his worst tendencies, leaving Oliver Coipel's without a compelling story to back it up. Read Full Review
Fight like a girl indeed!
Nailed it.
This was such a blast and a treat. I really liked the characters and the spells. This is like R Rated Harry Potter meets the Mafia.
Awesome end. Although it felt a tad rushed. Nonetheless, this is an excellent series.
This was a pretty satisfying end to a pretty interesting comic, good stuff all around.
