    Fanlight Zone - Richard Coryell

    May 27, 2026

X-Men #30 is a good finale to a solid arc. The X-Men fought from their heels for most of the arc, and the creative ways they found to overcome made this story very enjoyable. The epilogue shows where we will be going moving forward while closing some doors on where we’ve been. For X-Men fans this current run has been firing on all cylinders and is bringing an excitement back to this legendary title. Keep your eyes out for the Trade of this arc, as if you missed it the first time, you won’t want to miss it again. Read Full Review

Comic Book Clique - Gabe Foster

As I stated in a previous review, this is just good ol' classic X-Men entertainment. You get the bang for your buck that makes you feel like the X-Men are truly back. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Collier Jennings

    May 27, 2026

X-Men #30 utilizes some unique forms of problem-solving, as the "Danger Room" storyline comes to a close. With DNX on the horizon, it looks like future issues will significantly accelerate the pace of storytelling. Read Full Review

    KPB Comics - A.S Tiger

    May 28, 2026

X-Men #30 provides signature moments for key X-Men characters, and features strong work by the art team of Netho Diaz, Sean Parsons, and Arthur Hesli. Unfortunately, while the issue is mostly strong, the ending is disappointing and the need for five issues to be dedicated to this arc is suspect at best. Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Jamison Nilsson

    May 28, 2026

X-Men #30 is a poorly written issue that finishes an overly dramatic story arc that has failed to change anything about the X-Men’s status quo or establish interesting new characters. Read Full Review

Not really worth rating more issues of this book. So I'm just going to express my disconfort iin this issue.
This is one of the most mediocre runs I've ever read. Please Marvel, the X-Men deserve much better.

Jed took 5 issues to wrap a story up like this. What a disgrace. The X-men stuck in the belly of a beast who is simply known as “leviathan” is beaten by the power of friendship. Psyclock infiltrates the danger room Hq. We are shown nothing. Nor do we know what happens to them. We just get a “ I’ll fix them” type panel and no mention. Just gone. The person who shot glob. “We will hunt him down one day. Magneto you hunted nazis so you’ll help also. Then We move on. That the whole issue. Resolve as quickly as possible. Move on. The pacing and writing are wretched. What an awful conclusion to what started as a less awful storyline. The mad rush to get to the next storyline is obvious and a let down. The x books are broken. Someone. Anyone more
