This series didn’t totally stick the landing, letting the dynamic between Elektra and Joe Garrison fizzle out anticlimactically. Ivan Fiorelli has more pages here than he did in the previous issue, and while I like his artwork, it really clashes with Dowling’s style.

As for the story, I like what Schultz has done with Elektra and Alice. This was a fun adventure for Elektra in her DD persona, and I hope Schultz continues to write for the character for some time.

I'm just not sure what the point of this mini-series was. Did they know it was getting canceled after 4 issues? It felt like it was extremely rushed. I thought that the girl was kidnapped, which was why she went to Madripor, but the girl was with her aunt the whole time. It was very confusing and felt like a waste of time. I'm not a fan of this new "Punisher." Give both of them new identities. I'm tired of Marvel stealing a character's name to give it another character.

I liked this series up until this issue because it was fun. This issue isn't horrible, but it didn't do anything except have some decent action.

Schultz could write a good Elektra, but her style of writing requires a very good story built around Elektra for this to have any weight and sadly I do not think last few issues especially had that. Wonders are possible with a more complete idea of a story and better planning.
