But Why Tho? - Collier "CJ" Jennings Mar 23, 2022

X Deaths of Wolverine #5finds Wolverine fighting for the future of the X-Men and launches the Second Age of Krakoa. You Don't Read Comics - David Harth Mar 30, 2022

X Deaths Of Wolverine #5 is a good, if predictable, ending. Percy and Vicentini do a good job on this issue, and it looks like the ending will play well into the future. The Comicbook Dispatch - Dispatchdcu Mar 23, 2022

Overall, X DEATHS OF WOLVERINE spirals back to the overarching premise in comics today. All the toys need to be put back in the toy box exactly where they were found when you're done with them. But by doing so, it takes the wind out of the sails, deflates the story, and makes its purpose meaningless. Read Full Review

It was unwise to prop these Wolverine-centered series as spiritual successors to House of X and Powers of X. It set them up to disappoint, and disappoint they did. Read Full Review
