The only thing that this series had decent was retired. It's good to see Batgirl back and not prostrate in the chair like an invalid that she is not.

Wow, the art was so, so ugly that it distracted me from Taylor's juvenile writing, honestly the transition from Redondo to this is just awful. And I just love the part where Nightwing thinks it's a great idea to endanger people IN THEIR OWN HOMES by putting them in the Magistrate goons' line of fire, great heroism there, Tom Taylor, you utter idiot.

I don't thin envy me, I think they're just so used to their eco-chambers that when someone tells them in their faces that what they like is actually not good, they just can't take it. I've seen it several times and not just here.

Merlyn - Sep 23, 2021

Vent all you like, there's no problem but just be sure to add a review when there's a book you don't like. Otherwise the people who don't even read it and just rate it 10 because they like Taylor are pushing an unrealistic rating.

Honestly, better than I expected, pretty good surprise especially since Clownhunter is very boring as a character. But I enjoyed how Punchline explains that the clowns want to bait young people into violence. Very similar to what happens these days online with the radicalization of young people who can't take people disagreeing with them and think that violence is the solution. Also, yeah, if anyo more

I liked seeing Red Hood in this issue, I think my baby Jay has many things in common with the Clown Hunter, if he is a lot of copy of Jason Todd, but still I liked his interaction. Both boys have suffered losses and injuries by the clown causing them to join in the hatred of that despicable being, that I would like to see.

I was pleasantly surprised by this twist, it is not the most original thing in the world, but there is a respect for the canon that is sorely lacking in current DC comics. Besides something that is not all that left politics is refreshing, just relax and read a comic.
I agree that Brisson knew how to respect both characters canonically.

I will be honest I did not think to touch this book, a tremendous cliche about the boy victim of bullying, however the characterization of Red Hood was more reliable than that of Zdarsky that shows that he did not take a single recent book of the canon and gave us a very bad characterization of the character.
Nice to see Jay in his last uniform without the red bat on his chest.

A little more development on Clownhunter goes a long way. Bao Pham feels alone and has had to deal with predators for a lot of his life. It's no wonder that even with a therapy session, he still feels the need to punish bullies like Punchline's clown army. Only problem is, he doesn't have a lot of people to count on despite being able to take a hit. So having Red Hood show up looks like a good dev more

I'm going to be honest. I was pleasantly surprised for this issue. I had no expectations but it has great action and great characterization. Clownhunter seems to be like a more untrained version of Red Hood/Punisher, but I really enjoy his backstory and how he's willing to just murder people.

That was sad they both want the same thing, a whole family, I think that in Bruce's hallucination he looked at his much younger children including Kate, he wishes he had chosen his son instead of the Joker, in his fantasy he wanted to be the one to kill the Joker and not Jason. Not bad, removing a lot of things that don't fit, like Bruce's happiness is killing the Joker, I think Batman's happiness would actually include his living parents. fenixalasnegras - Aug 16, 2021

I don't think they will at the moment, but they are going to take out some garbage to put Jason aside like they usually do, you know the painting, the family gatherings etc. Eventually in a few years they will return to the same thing, Jason will kill someone.
