Jose Luis delivers some impressive visuals throughout the issue. The art is beautifully detailed across every page. Read Full Review
Titans United #3 is a great issue, with thrilling adventures and gripping scenes, and multiple plot threads that have me geeking out waiting for the next issue! Read Full Review
Titans United still seems at odds with the wide array of what people expect from the Teen Titans, but there's still just enough charm in the pages of this series. Read Full Review
While you'll get some amazing art in this issue and a look at Jason Todd on this team that comes off more like an endearing ass hat instead of a "what the hell is he doing here?" ass hat, there isn't too much forward momentum in this story since this issue seems to be all about action and nothing else. Yeah, there's some fun to be had but I was looking for more by the end since we still don't really know what's going on or the rules of this superpower problem. Read Full Review
Excelente arte.
With Jason using weapons and art I am well served. There are good moments of action. The characters aren't that great, I'll just let it go this time.
no bad
I like that Cavan Scott gets how insane Jason is in the field but can we slow it down on the "omg how he annoys us all" thing? Like, we don't need to hear that on every single page even if it's the charm of the character, it gets tedious after a while. Still like that at least here he uses his guns, it seems like it's more important that this book promotes the show than the ideological stupidities that DC has implemented on the character in main continuity.
O gibi não é ruim, o maior problema é a sinergia com a serie, botando personagens que não deveriam estar ai.
Issue 3 continues the fast paced mission the titans have been on. Half the team is on the hunt for Lady Vic while another member, Superboy, is being tortured by Blackfire, without the teams knowing. Which is unfortunate because Superboy gets put through the ringer in this issue. Then again, every issue it appears to get worse & worse for the character. I'm interested in seeing where they go with superboy though. But unfortunately that's overshadowed by Red Hood being the main focus of this issue. Or at least gets most of the pages spent on his antics and daredevil like actions. We see how much of a daring hero he is & how he doesn't follow rules. He's the type to react first & ask questions later and I must say, it is entertaining. This chamore
I hate to say this, but this series continues to drop in quality for me. I saw someone say this about this issue somewhere else and I completely agree, in that there is so much banter between the team members. Look, I couldn't care less if there's banter between characters and I think that when it's done well it's done well. However, what we get here feels generic and somewhat lifeless. What makes me rate this a 6/10 instead of something lower is because the art is solid and the story throughout this issue is able to maintain a fair level of interest. However, that interest is fading.
This is kind of lacking.
It's great to see Jason with his guns again, but the characterization of all the characters sucks. Everyone without exception acts like idiots.
Jose Lus is a talented drawer. Cavan Scott is not a writer, he may be not a real person either. I'm almost sure that the plot and the dialogues are software generated. (I'm copying and pasting my own thought at this point)
