This is an all-star creative team, and it feels like they are not holding back their talents at all with this arc. Read Full Review

Apr 22, 2026This issue is hilarious in places, with Prime having a sense of meta-awareness that is really unique in characters and leads to some amazing one-liners, but there’s a surprisingly personal touch to the whole thing that really makes it work. The ending promises a surprising new villain – one who has an unexpected personal connection to Prime as well. Read Full Review

Apr 22, 2026Williamson has completely won me over on the redemption angle of Prime. I just hope we’re not being set-up to have him fall back on villainy by the time this story concludes. Otherwise ‘Superman’ #37 is a solid issue with lots of fun cameos and purposeful guest appearances. Read Full Review

It’s admirable when a creative team seems to be having as much fun as Mora & JW are in this issue. Inferior to the first, but still very bright and fun.

Joshua Williamson is really be having an absolute blast writing this character because I certainly am reading it. The Superman book was really good but this is a complete revamp. I’m loving every ridiculous page. The art is amazing as well. Dan Mora killed it on this issue. It reads very fast. The story is simple and nothing hard to grasp. Prime is a vicious killer. And he’s trying to reinvent himself. I had a huge smile on my face this entire issue. Cannot wait to see where this goes.
