The Swamp Thing #15 is another fantastic issue of a fantastic series. V's writing is at times beautiful and at times moving. As one would expect, it's hard to believe we're down to one issue. This continues to be great comics. If the way we get great these books has changed and they're going to come in storylines, as opposed to a continuous series that run for years and years, then The Swamp Thing is an example of how to do it right. It would be nice to see this creative monthly on an ongoing Swamp Thing series, though! Read Full Review
Levi Kamei returns as a very different Swamp Thing in this penultimate issue from Ram V and Mike Perkins. Like knot weed, the various strands of this saga entwine together in a brutal ballet with the Earth at stake. Can Kamei's unconventional but hopeful solution save the day? Read Full Review
With only one issue to go, it feels like there is still a world of story to unlock, but it doesn't feel like it'll be rushed. It feels like everything is proceeding exactly as planned, as the creators unlock the final secrets of their epic mystery. Read Full Review

Bits and Pieces:The Swamp Thing #15 ramps up the penultimate issue by bringing all the characters together for a final showdown, whether their appearance makes sense or not. There's plenty of excellent art, and the pacing is much improved over the vast majority of this series, but how this will end is the biggest mystery. Read Full Review

another amazing issue
This masterpiece of a story continues to be brilliant. The writing is phenomenal and it's matched by some of the best artwork you will see in a comic book. The only downside is this is the penultimate issue meaning this volume is ending which is really a bummer. Come on DC you did a season two why not do a season 3.
I think Ram likes this series and not Batman, or maybe it's the freedom that the editors give him in one or another series.
Still great. Ram V scrambling to make a better/equal quality thesis than Alan Moore did during "Return of Good Gumbo". Peak Swamp Thing once again!
The penultimate issue to this run is a well-written one that sets us up for what's sure to be a great finale. The bulk of this issue is basically just Levi talking, but V. is able to make it interesting enough to keep the pages turning. Plus, Perkins continues to bring nicely drawn pages. All I can hope is that V. and Perkins stick the landing with Issue 16.
It's hard not to just copy/paste my review of last month's issue. Just a great book, that captures everything that's unique about this contemplative, philosophically-driven character.
