It's monkey vs. rat as Monkey Brains squares off against the Rat King! The former colleagues have gone through big changes since they last met, but bad blood remains! With the Turtles caught in the middle, the action is bound to get hairy!
Those who are more fond of the Rat King than I am are likely to enjoy the issue more than I did, but even so there's enough here in terms of character interaction and developing ongoing plots which I felt helped the comic work despite focusing on a villain I don't much care for. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles New Animated Adventures #8 is not something that changes the game but continues to play along. If you don't like what it's based on than I doubt it makes much of a case for you to give it another look. Still it comes recommended. Read Full Review
