This issue features two terrific Turtle tales! In the first, the robot Metal Head starts to act very strangely. When the Turtles try to fix him, an argument between Raph and Don could cause the entire day to go haywire! The second story details the astounding origin of Raph's new black eye!
All in all, this book is a fun read, with just enough depth for the readers that are also the demographic for the show. It is good clean fun with some easy moral messages for kids of all ages. Id say that the new animated adventures are worth every penny your not spending on pizza. Read Full Review
Both stories are fun and play on basic character traits of the Turtles. The first story allows the two to eventually come to an understanding. The second showcases Raph's bruised ego and Donnie, Michelangelo, and Leonardo choosing not give their brother a hard time after learning his shiner came in the service of helping a friend. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles New Animated Adventures #9 is a fun romp that relies too much on being a companion series to really stand on its own. But nonetheless it is very entertaining as it comes recommended. Read Full Review
