Campbell's ability to vacillate between kinetic action beats and softer but not less bold emotional moments is crucial to executing this story, which involves time travel, a deadlier threat beyond the Armageddon Game, and themes of finding self through transformation, both physical and those that come with existing in the flow of time. What a great story , venus is here to stay !
Such a relief to finally get a great issue out of this series that has been disappointing for me compared to what I expect from the ongoing series. Sophie kills it with the art and story that quickly develops Venus into a compelling character.
