The Crow: Skinning the Wolves has a number of problems. Depending on what O'Barr and Terry do in the final issue, most of them could be solved, in which case the story will function quite a bit better when it's collected in trade format. I liked the issue, but the writing far exceeds the art. It’s not that the art is bad, but it suffers from the classic comic fault of a great story becoming mediocre due to the art. If you dug the story in the first issue then you’ll still really enjoy this issue and just because it’s average doesn’t make it bad by any means, it just could have been better is all.
