When a blue-collar worker from New Jersey passes prophetic messages to the FBI from a mysterious "Mr. Zero," Mulder is convinced it is the same otherworldly entity that contacted the FBI through a suburban housewife in the 1940s. This similarly named "Mr. Xero" pointed the FBI toward many unusual cases, leading to the establishment of "the X-Files"!
And despite my reservations about the issue's narrative muddiness, the great dialogue and exceptional art still makes it a highly enjoyable read. Let's just hope that next month's installment moves things forward a bit. Read Full Review
This series has been slow picking up, and I think we can all agree that the second issue's episode tie-in element was a misstep. But I'm excited to see what kinds of places Kesel & co. are going with the angle of Mr. Zero/Xero's origins and what they mean to humanity. Read Full Review
