Transformers: Beast Wars #11certainly ramps up the stakes as each faction lose one of their own in a no-holds-barred fight. Burnham's script is clear and focused as he balances the action with plenty of satisfying character moments while Burchan's artwork is detailed from start to finish. With how unafraid Burnham is in already killing off characters – whether it's permanent or some kind of twist –Beast Warsfans should be very pleased in how the story continues to unfold. Razorback is quickly becoming one of my favorite Predacons. His duplicitous nature, a dark horse of sorts in the shape of an underestimated threat. The Lenny in this "Mice or Men" tale. Burnham is doing for him what the anime did for Black Arachnia. And as the 25th anniversary of the definitive Transformers series continues, the characters under Burnham's pen are more fleshed out than metallic, but athe pencil work needs a dirtier touch as the battle between Maximal & Predacon continues to rage on. I don't recall floating energon mountains being established, the reader would only have prior knowledge of these from the tv show, so this really comes out of nowhere as a lazy plot device, especially considering it seems to be right next to the Predacon ship.
