If I have a criticism, its that Thundercracker ends up being comic relief, which jars slightly with his characterisation and the tone of the issue generally. The fact remains, though, that this sets the standard for franchise tie-in comics, and raises the bar in doing so. All in all, this isn't a bad issue but I was expecting a little bit more. Perhaps the introduction was less satisfying than last month's issue suggested, but it feels as if the real core of this arc is being saved for later on and it shows in certain areas. RiD #32 doesn't live up to last month's installment, but it's a satisfying addition to this new era of Transformers and sets the stage for some dramatic shifts in months to come. The series calms down a bit this month but it feels like the quiet before the storm. Read Full Review
I enjoyed this, but these schemes Prowl cooks up get more and more convoluted. My favourite part is actually Thundercracker's script, I think IDW ought to publish it!
