Beni Lobel keeps the mood and tone with an overabundance of darks and blacks. The color palette's muted tones could use a splash more color from time to time but that's a tough chore in the deep swamps of Bon Temps, Louisiana. McMillian does a very nice job with True Blood and it is an adaptation that continues to grow on me. I start to wonder what I've been missing on TV all these years, good books will do that and for that I'm thankful. If you are a fan of the show it would be in your best interest to read this comic as well. Read Full Review
