The saga of Scully and Wynn continues as they search for a fabled village by the sea where rumors tell of a warm heaven in this cold hell. Wynn is still in search of her parents and the village of La Niña may be the place they were heading when she was abandoned as a child. As far as the illustrations goes, I'm kind of feeling indifferent this time. I like that some of the blue and reds which contrasted against all the black stands out but some scenes feel too dark. It's like that third Underworld movie where you can't see shit or recognize the faces of the characters because all the dark lighting. The story seems disjointed, like the team is trying to meld novel style drama with the current no descriptions style of comic book story telling that unfortunately dominates today. The art is fabulous and 2 very interesting characters show up. Still enjoyable but it doesn't feel like the team has enough pages in the issue to do what they wanted.
