May 18, 2017Yo-Kai Watch #1 wasn't a bad first issue but something felt off as it transitioned from Japanese mediums to an American one. Esquivel does an admirable job of tying this in with the anime allowing the youth readers to make the connection between them. The art team decides to Americanize the anime giving the panels a Scooby Doo type feel. Read Full Review
