Sawyer tries his best to rally all the rabbits on the Agatha estate in preparation for another attack by J. Jackson Jackson's crew. He's finding out the hard way his friends are just too fragile to help defend their only home.
Even though it's upsetting to see that this is the penultimate issue, I'm looking forward to seeing how this story ends. I really enjoyed reading this issue. I'm normally not a big fan of stories ending on cliffhangers but the way it was done in this comic only increases my excitement for the finale. Giffen and Roman end the issue on quite a little cliffhanger. They do so in a way that is suitably stagnant for a series which has become so defined by idle moments in the lives of those living in impending doom of losing their homes and ultimately their lives. I think that Auntie Agatha's Home for Wayward Rabbits #5 has really settled into the story. We know enough about enough of the rabbits that we care for them, even the annoying ones. I like the weirdness of the bad guys. And I really like that Julie reminds us that she is a girl " really, what can she do against lawyers and such? That touch of realism is refreshing.
