You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

The brutality of the most of the issue might come as a bit of a shock. It's a lot of hand-to-hand combat. Let's hasn't had a whole lot of opportunity for that in the past. So it's kind of cool seeing her really let loose in us an extended action sequence where she's just using her hands and feet and her body to defend herself as she's escaping from prison. Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles

This was a very fun installment of the series, which has become more of the norm each month. Cereno isn’t afraid to take daring chances with the story like separating the title characters and putting them in vastly different situations. Blood & Thunder #13 brings an inventive and effective way of telling this part of the story. The journey we go on with Akeldama as she has been incarcerated is a nice touch to bridge us to the next part of the story. This inventive style makes the story even more easily digestible and also easier for new readers to jump in. Read Full Review

This uneven series finds new creative energy by changing things up. The bounty hunter at the center of the story is now the hunted, without her trusty firearm. The strong story and great visuals are exactly what this title needed to find its footing again. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez

If future issues can maintain the momentum established in this opening chapter, this has the potential to be the strongest story arc of the series. Read Full Review
