Following their move into (much) closer quarters, Charlie and Vita get to know each other better. But the results might be more disastrous than the incompetent crowdfunded gunmen hunting them across Los Angeles. As Vita struggles with the fallout of losing her only sense of security, Charlie looks for a way to slip free of her leash, placing her directly in the crosshairs of Trotter, who's hoping his hugest kill yet will launch him back to the top of death charts.
The issue balances that depth out by also fleshing out Vita and Charlie just a bit more as well and, just because it can, ends off on a cliffhanger that will leave you wondering just how the story can move forward from there. Read Full Review
Sebela continues to impress with fun and inventive ways that this world has turned into a full app/service based economy. For instance when Vita returns home to find her house burning to the ground and the firemen standing around. The fireman tells her she can swipe for just the regular water package or use the foam for a nominal fee. When she jumps out of the window of her house and has to be saved by the inflatable crash mat, the fire man tells her that it will be added to her bill. Sebela has managed to take something that we take for granted as a public service and turn it into a fee based service with add ons, simply amazing. Read Full Review
Crowded #4 takes the heat of Vita and Charlie for a moment, shifting to develop backstories. Christopher Sebela continues to produce a high-engergy series, ending the issue on a humorous cliffhanger. Ro Stein's art is great. It is kinetic and fun with some dramatic and effective camera angles in many of the panels. Angles that ramp up both the tension and the fun of the story. Can't wait to see where this goes next. Read Full Review
