With stellar art and interesting villains, the only thing holding this issue back is some faltering characterization and pacing.     Ultimately, this very much a set-up issue for the next arc, but with so much fantastic world-building at play, its still a thoroughly enjoyable read. Soule and Browne are onto something truly special here with their entertaining mix of magic, humour and fantasy drama, and with a willfully unconventional approach, Curse Words is all but guaranteed to make you yell Abraca-DAMN-bra!.     If youre looking for a sardonically satirical antihero story with hogtaurs and rat/koala/bird familiars, snatch this one up. While you neednt have already read the first arc to get on at this stop, youll probably want to go back and grab the newly released TPB of The Devils Devil to get more of the story. Read Full Review
