Dead Eyes caused a mob funeral so he could gain access to a mafia stronghold. When he arrives he only finds that it's empty-ish. What ensues is the funniest, most violent and effed-up fight since Dead Eyes' brawl in a hospital MRI suite with laughing gas. This one has it all. Punching, kicking, biting, vomiting, shooting, losing, winning, and of course... the half billion in stolen art. How's Dead Eyes gonna get out of this one?
The filth and brutality of the issue marks a pronounced moment at the end of the issue that feels like a nice moment of accent. It really hits the page and just the right way. And it's going to be interesting to see where it goes from here. Because there's a quite a lot that could happen in that fourth issue. Things could take a pretty turn. What a solid issue of Dead Eyes. The puking match was just absurd, but I loved it. dead Eyes is always a reliable read that's meant to entertain.
