This is it. The Enemy has breached the gates, and Bernardette stands as the last line of defense. This is where it all ends, one way or another, and with this issue DEATH VIGIL ends. Or does it?
Buy the single issues, especially Death Vigil #8 next month. Preoder that issue, buy the trades, show Image that they made a mistake not pushing a series like Death Vigil that had so much potential. Just another fan favorite series that fell through the cracks, but it will be remembered for what it accomplished these 8 issues. If you haven't read Death Vigil, then frankly you need to. This volume met with some delays due to health reasons, but it's been an amazing journey and story. It also proves what I've long said, that the Japanese style of storytelling can work in American comics if blended together and that's part of what Sejic does here. As much as I'm looking forward to Sejic's next series Switch, I'm going to be patiently waiting for the next volume of Death Vigil, because this has become one of my favorite series. Read Full Review
Death Vigil #8 is the kind of conclusion that we deserve, bringing the current arc to a fitting conclusion, whilst leaving the door open for a potential future. So make sure to collect this from your local comic store come September 16, as you don't want to miss out on this finale. Read Full Review
