After talking about this series on our comic book podcast the CBMFP, people have told me that they went out and bought the series. I hope that more people will discover and buy the series because it is already one of my top picks of the year. I thought Kevin was crazy for picking it as his issue of the year last year, but with three more added to the pile since then" well maybe I was crazy for not picking it as well. "The things I don't know multiplying."
Well if that line doesn't just about sum up my experience with this series so far. I have very little idea what's going on, but now that I'm starting to get used to the writing style and the way the plot jumps around, I'm actually really starting to enjoy this. The quality of this series will obviously totally depend on how the many questions and mysteries are answered and explained, but for the time being, I'm content to stay patient and enjoy watching things unfold. And it's especially pleasant to watch when the scenery is this good, thanks to Nic Klein.
This comic look gorgeous as usual. There is some excitement in this issue, but, honestly, I'm not sure that I know what is going on.
