  Fireborn #4 is a core issue for this series that brings together everything readers have learned from the first three issues to this high stakes battle against Cu. Intense character development leads to an intense “level up” by the main characters building their bond to a stronger level. The plot grows even more within this issue with the introduction of the Lost Fantasy series connection. If you are sleeping on Fireborn, shame on you! This is a fantastic series that continues to grow the lore of Fireborn. This is only issue four, so you have plenty of time and opportunity to get the first three issues WHEN you pick up issue four.   Epic action at every turn! Fireborn vs. CU lives up to billing in a magnificent arc finale! Pires and Jonas pull out all the stops with the writing .   You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

  An unsuspecting guy gets power beyond belief. And he kind of needs to have to deal with it. Because suddenly people are attacking him. This sort of thing actually happens a lot in science fiction and fantasy. It's hard to do this sort of thing in a way that feels like it's anything other than an echo of an echo of a copy of a shadow of something else. Given how derivative the basic story is it's really interesting that Jonas and company are able to do anything with it at all. It's fun, though. Read Full Review
